No mask will offer full protection, and they should not be viewed as a replacement for physical distancing of at least one metre  from others. It is also very important to avoid touching your face, practice frequent hand-washing, and avoiding crowds. When you combine masks with those measures, they can make a big difference.

Yes. You can untie the knot to fit your facial size, or replace the ear loops with other ear straps like tie back band or T-shirt yarn. Refer to Accessories for options that prevent behind-the-ear irritation.

Using a hairpin or a safety pin, tuck in the string into the two casings on masks and pull out from the other side, click here for the instruction video.

  12. Ouch! My ears hurt after wearing face masks all day. Any suggestions?
There are many ways to relieve ears pressure, simply wrap the mask's elastic straps on buttons or clip. For an example, you may sew additional buttons on your cap or headband on either side to hook mask elastics rather than the ears.

One of the quick and easy way is use up-cycled T-shirt to create yarn as tie back option. This option provide more stretch and durability compare to an elastic tie. Provided that the hems (side casings) on your mask has enough room, get a safety pin to tuck in the yarn as tie back bands.
Click here on how to replace ear loops to T-shirt yarn.

  13. How should my mask fit?
A good fit is important for maximum protection from a face mask.

No. You should put your mask in a protective pouch when eating or after removing it. Wash your hands
